A Bill on Which NA Committee and Government to Cooperate
1 / 18

At February 24 sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs debated in the first reading the amendments and the addendum being proposed in the law on Joint Stock Companies authored by the deputies of My Step Faction Artak Manukyan and Babken Tunyan. The goal is the creation of the favourable and adequate conditions for the joint stock process of the employees of the company in Armenia.

According to Artak Manukyan, the Company has the right to issue in the frameworks of the employees' joint stock sharing and  distribute the employee's ordinary or preference shares, if it is not banned by the statute.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Vahe Danielyan informed that the Government worked out and put into circulation the homonymic legislative package, where about 90% of the package authored by the MPs are included and proposed them to cooperate.

By Artak Manukyan's proposal, the debate of the item was postponed up to two-month term.

The Committee members debated in the second reading and endorsed a number of draft laws and packages.

The MPs Lilit Makunts and Gevorg Papoyan proposed to amend the law on Purchases. According to Gevorg Papoyan, after the first reading amendments of editorial character had been made in the draft law and proposals in content had not been introduced.

The draft law on Licenses and the enclosed package of the draft laws authored by the Government makes an attempt to regulate the property and personal, non-property relations related to the creation of inventions and the legal maintenance and use.

The draft laws debated in the second reading will be included in the draft law of the upcoming regular sittings agenda.
